Refunds & Returns Policy — EE UK Mobile SIMs

1. Definitions and Key Terms
- Company / We / Us / Our: BizBootstrap UK Limited T/A BizBootstrap.
- Customer / You: The individual or organisation purchasing/using our mobile SIM products or services.
- Device: Any internet-enabled device (phone, tablet, router/CPE, etc.).
- Service: BizBootstrap’s mobile SIM connectivity and related services.
- Website: www.bizbootstrap.co.uk.
- SIM: EE UK SIM cards or prepaid mobile SIM packages supplied by BizBootstrap.
2. Scope and Relationship with Other Terms
This policy applies to EE UK Mobile SIM purchases from BizBootstrap and forms part of our General Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
3. Activation Time
- Activation may take up to 72 hours (3 days) from registration/activation request.
- No refunds are provided for “slow activation” where activation is completed within 3 days.
- If activation fails after 3 days, we will replace the SIM or process a refund according to the windows below.
4. 14-Day Full Refund Window
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if all of the following are met:
- The SIM is unused (no calls/SMS/data consumed).
- The SIM is returned in its original packaging.
- The request is submitted within 14 days of purchase.
Applies to monthly rolling SIMs and prepaid UK SIMs.
5. Prepaid SIMs — Pro-Rata Refund up to 30 Days
For prepaid UK SIMs, you may request a pro-rata refund up to 30 days after purchase where:
- The SIM is active and some allowance has been used.
- The refund is requested within 30 days of purchase.
Pro-rata calculations consider plan price, remaining allowance, and remaining days in the 30-day period.
Not available if 30+ days have passed, the bundle is largely consumed, or the AUP has been breached.
6. No-Refund Scenarios
- Activation completed within 72 hours (3 days).
- Heavy/abusive use, prohibited devices (e.g., SIM boxes/gateways), or AUP breach.
- Loss/damage after delivery, or expiry of the prepaid period.
7. Shipping & Returns
- Customer is responsible for return postage costs (including orders initially shipped “free”).
- Return SIMs in original packaging; BizBootstrap is not liable for items damaged in return transit.
- We recommend tracked post and proof of postage.
8. Refund Processing
- Once received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- We’ll email you when your refund has been processed.
9. Order Cancellations by BizBootstrap
- We may cancel orders due to stock issues, activation failures outside our control, inability to verify identity, withdrawal of service, or suspected fraud/abuse.
- If we cancel, a full refund will be issued.
